Will my student be able to ride the first day of school?
If you have completed the online student verification and signed them up for the bus by August 7th and do not have any outstanding transportation fees, yes, your student will be able to ride the bus on the first day of school.
What if I signed my student up after August 7th?
If your student does not have any outstanding transportation fees, the transportation department will start working on adding your student to the bus route and creating a bus pass if they are a new rider. This may take up to 72 hours to complete before your student will be able to start riding the bus.
When will I receive my student’s bus route?
Families will receive a letter with the times and locations of pick-ups and drop-offs for each route. In order to ensure routes are as accurate as possible, letters will not be mailed until the week before school starts.
When will my student receive their bus pass?
If your student rode the bus last year, they will need to continue to use the previous bus pass.
If your student is a NEW bus rider, you will receive their bus pass at back to school night if you registered by August 7th.
How do I get a replacement bus pass if we lost the one from last year?
If you are not able to locate your student’s pass, you can purchase a replacement for $25. To request a replacement pass, please contact your student’s building secretary.
What if I have an outstanding transportation balance? Can my student ride the bus?
If you have an outstanding balance from the previous year, your student will not be added to a bus route. All balances need to be paid prior to being added to the routes. If you have an outstanding balance, you will not receive route information in the mail. Please contact the Transportation Department at 402-238-2902 if you have any questions.
